Windows Live Hotmail on Google Chrome September 7, 2008

Posted by Baihaqi in Technology.

I’ve been using Google Chrome as my default browser since it was launched. I love it. Everything works fine. All the web applications that I have been using are working well in Chrome, even faster. Then today, I signed in to my old email in Hotmail, and the result can be seen on the the screen shot below:

Yes it is quite sad that Microsoft have made Chrome compatible with the full version of Windows Live Hotmail, we’ll have to make do with the classic version. Hopefully when Chrome comes out of beta then it will be made compatible with the full version…

But when will that be? GMail has been in beta version since forever! I hope at least they modify the beta version to a better one with less flaws… I’ve been having problems with certain plug-ins such us java online games, and now, with the last version of Windows Live Hotmail, I cannot even compose mails. It doesn’t let me type anything. Hope they fix that soon.

I have exactly the same problem. I logged in fine, and can view my mail just fine but when I want to reply to, or send a new email the text box is dimmed as though it’s a locked function. I thought I’d click on rich text, plain text & html incase this might help me but no luck. Any suggestions? Any fixes for this yet or soon? Thanks
